Happy Sunday everyone,

Today is starting out fairly pleasant for south Louisiana. It makes me wish I were back on the Alabama mountain a little. Not sorry for leaving behind all the biting flying critters tho. Everytime I feel i have identified one, there's a different one that appears wanting a bit of my O positive blood.

News about Phoenix the dachshund. He counts in sign language, French and English by turning in circles from one to ten for a treat.

Unfortunately that is all I have been able to teach him. He is such a hard headed little German that whatever command I give him, he does the exact opposite, even when I call his name. Go figure!

Weird things are happening. A representative from Amazon and another from Barnes and Nobles has contacted me along with another representative inviting me to the book fair in Chicago in September the 12 and 13. Also there is someone asking if I would like to turn my books into a Lifetime movie.  The most difficult part is trying to figure out which offer is a scam and believe me, I have been scammed far too many times to take any of this lightly. Nope to all of the above. I may try my hand at selfpublishing someday but that is highly unlikely. Thus far the Ewing publishing company has been very good to me, even though we have had some stumbling blocks, we eventually understand one another. later Cindy

Stay safe

Dallas has been my constant shadow and faithful companion, especially during the quiet times when there are no humans around. As his gray becomes more noticeable, I find myself cherishing his presence
